How to Request School Transcripts Records

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records.  Students must sign a release form to authorize a school to release transcript information. Students 18 years or older must sign the release themselves.    A parent may only sign for students under 18.

Current students need fill out a “Request for Transcript” form available in the Counselors Office at IFHS.
The Counselors Office asks requests be made no later than two weeks before the application deadline.
