Diet: Carnivore
Range: Alaska, most of Canada, and south to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado.
Habitat The lynx need a variety of habitats, relying on both early and late successional stages for foraging and denning opportunities respectively. They generally rely on dense forests of hardwoods or evergreens that provide cover for escape, protection, and den sites.
