Biography
Mr. Marshall was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He taught fifth and sixth grade for six years and has been a principal for twenty-eight years. He has five children and enjoys spending all the time he can find enjoying their company. He is also a farmer and cattle producer in his spare time. He runs a small herd of cows and calves and puts up over a hundred acres of hay a year. Mr. Marshall has a Masters and Education Specialist Degree from Idaho State University. He has been a principal of schools in Idaho Falls School District #91, Pocatello School District #25, and Freeman School District in Spokane, Washington. Edgemont is the eighth school in which Mr. Marshall has been the principal. |

Expectations
Mr. Marshall feels that guiding a school where the belief that all children can and will learn is the top priority. Schools should be safe, interesting, and a place people have fun together. You most commonly find Mr. Marshall is the halls, classroom, or playground talking with students and teachers and setting an expectation of cooperation and compliance to the school rules and beliefs. He'll tell you that he has "the best job in the world" to work with teachers and students. Ask him and he'll also tell you that Edgemont students and teachers make it a very nice place to enjoy his work.
