Biography
Mrs. Allemeier (also known as Mrs. A) was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and lived on the East Coast until she married a Montanan and moved to Idaho! She has taught many ages and ability levels in her 18 years of teaching experience. Mrs. A has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Education of the Deaf.

Beginning economics
Health-The district recently adopted a new program for health. We will be covering areas such as healthy lifestyles, risk-taking behaviors, communication skills for healthy relationships, consumer health and mental and emotional wellness.
Music and P.E.-We will have a specialist from District 91 enhancing our classroom music program. Our goal is to make the students aware of the pleasure and delight music can add to one's life and then augmenting those feelings with some music theory. In P.E. the districts instructor will implement his weekly instruction for the students. We will follow the district guidelines in implementing a physical fitness program for the students also.
Homework-We strongly urge that students spend a minimum of twenty uninterrupted minutes a night of home study on Monday through Thursday. Home study activities include:

Reading time set-aside with you and your child for pleasure or about a topic your child is interested in

Practice handwriting working on letter formation, size, spacing

Journal writing, letter writing, story writing or any kind of writing that interest your child
Birthdays-Students can bring a store bought treat in and share with the class.
