Edgemont welcomes all parents to join PTO.  Meeting dates are located on the school calendar of this website.

Studies show that when parents get involved, children do better in school. Benefits include students who:

• earn better grades.
• score higher on tests.
• pass their classes.
• attend school regularly.
• have better social skills.
• show improved behavior.
• be more positive in their attitude toward school.
• complete homework assignments.
• graduate and continue their education.

Being involved at your school doesn't require a large time commitment. Two hours once or twice a year can make a big difference. Contact any of the above listed officers to find out how you can help.  At “Back to School Night” on September 4th, the PTO will have sign-up sheets for anyone interested in being a room mother/father, library helper, committee member, etc.
