Technology Lab

Edgemont Elementary’s Computer Lab consists of 29 Dual Platform Mac Computers, a mounted  overhead projector, and Smartboard.  The lab used by all K-6 classrooms on a weekly basis for reinforcing standards based curriculum, creating movies, podcasts, converting video/audio files, fluency and reading comprehension, keyboarding skills, computer programming, and research.  These skills are taught and achieved with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, UltraKey, Fluency Coach, KidPix, Internet Explorer, Little Fingers, Alice, iMovie, Garageband, PhotoBooth, iPhoto, and iTunes.
