Message from the Presidents
August 2008
Welcome Back! We are ready for a new school year, and are excited to serve as this year’s Co-PTO Presidents. We can’t wait for our first event, Back To School Night on September 4th, and encourage everyone to free up your schedules so you can attend.
We are very fortunate to live in the Fox Hollow boundaries with the teachers, staff, and administration we have. They are an exceptional group who are genuinely concerned about our children. They are truly committed to helping our kids succeed. Part of that success comes from Parent Involvement. We would encourage all parents to find a way to help, even just a little this year. If you have time to volunteer in your child’s class each week, Great. If you can volunteer at a PTO function once a month, Wonderful. If you can help out at a one time activity, Super! We simply need your help!
We look forward to a year of many successes through everyone’s hard work.

Come to our first PTO meeting for this school year! It will be held Thursday, Sept. 4th at 2:15 pm in the new PTO room. We’ll be discussing upcoming events in September, as well as this year’s fundraiser. Children are welcome, but need to stay in the PTO room or in the designated classroom.

Our goal is to have 100 books donated to the library this year through the birthday book program. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate your child’s birthday as well as support the school library. It only costs $10.00, and your donation goes 100% to the purchase of books for the library (the PTO pays for the AR test for that book). We have a great selection of books to choose from on the birthday book shelf, so come on in and check it out.
