Message from the President

(Apr. 2007) Discover the Magic of Walking! It has been so fun to go to school and see all the kids walking or running around the field! The kids are doing great, and we hope they are encouraged to continue any type of exercise after our Trek to Disney Land is over this week!

The Health and Safety Fair was a big success! The community really did a great job to teach our kids and parents about Health and Safety. Everyone that attended had a great time!

I just want to say Thank You to every parent who helps with the PTO. It really is a group effort, and all of you are really appreciated. Have a great Spring Break.

Birthday Book Program

(Apr. 2007) Parents, staff, and students: We have had a great year so far with birthday book purchases. 89 books have been donated to our library so far this year. Thank you to these donors! Our goal is to have 100 books donated to the library this year through the birthday book program. If you have not taken the time to donate a book, please do so now. This is a great way to support the school library, and it only costs $10.00. Your donation goes 100% to the purchase of books for the library (the PTO pays for the AR test for that book). You don’t have to be a student to donate. We have had purchases made by parents and staff for their own birthdays, too! We have a great selection of books to choose from on the birthday book shelf, so come on in and check it out.

Message from the President

All the food was donated to the Soup Kitchen, and they were very thankful for your generosity. It was a great way for Fox Hollow to give back to the community, thanks to everyone who participated.

From the President

(Jan. 2007) Welcome back, and Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great Holiday Season! The years roll by so quickly, I am just amazed that we are already into 2007!

We received an additional $300 from JSC Fundraising (the company we went through for our cookie dough) for the delay we had receiving the cookie dough! That brings the total that Fox Hollow earned to over $11,000.00!!! We just want to remind everyone, that we are NOT having a spring Fund Raiser, but ask that you participate in all the small things that we do to support Fox Hollow, such as Wendy's night, Albertson's, Box Tops and Campbell's Soup Labels.

These all seem like such small things, but if we all give a little, it really does add up to big amounts! We are also going to hold a Canned Food Drive in the month of February, so look for that, and start collecting your food!

I feel so blessed to be part of Fox Hollow. I truly believe our kids go to the best school. The staff is wonderful, and we have so many parents who are willing to help and be part of their kids lives! Have a great month.

From the President

(Oct. 2006) How time flies when you’re having fun! I can't believe we started school over 5 weeks ago! I have truly enjoyed my time as president this far. It is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the school, and to get to know so many of the parents!

I want to say thank you to everyone who made it to Back to School Night. We had lots of parents who signed up to help throughout the year with all the PTO sponsored activities. Thank you so much for your willingness to help. We will be sending home a flyer designed for each classroom, with the positions that are still available. We hope to have everything filled up, so make sure you take a look at it and see if you can help. This is such a big help to the teachers and just makes the classroom run smooth.

It is also time for our Fall Fund Raiser! We will be sending home the packets on Tuesday, October 3rd. This will be our ONLY Fund Raiser for the year, so we are hoping everyone will participate. Check your kids backpacks next week for all the information. Thanks again to everyone who has helped out already this year.
