Idaho Falls School District employees are paid on the 20th of the month unless it falls on a weekend and then payday will be on the Friday before the 20th. Direct deposit is available for ALL district employees. Time Sheets are due the last working day of the month, and must be signed by you and your supervisor. PLEASE do not hold time sheets to turn in after the current month.
Direct Deposit is available for ALL district employees. Your monthly payroll deposits are located and viewed through your Skyward Employee Access account (see instructions below). The deposit is not in your bank account until payday, but it may be viewed in your Skyward account the day before payday.
Employees receiving a check will receive it at their building during the school year. Temporary employees’ and substitutes’ checks are mailed home. During the summer, employees working less than 245 days will receive their checks at their home address.
Skyward Employee Access allows you to view your payroll information and deposits. You can log on to your account from any computer connected to the internet, view and print your paycheck information,W-2’s, track your leave accumulation and usage, and double-check your personal information.

Before logging on the first time, call payroll at 525-7515 and ask for a temporary password. When you log in the first time, the system will have youchange your password. Keep your information secure by choosing your own password and logging out when finished.
Your User Name is the first 4 letters of your LAST name, followed by the first 4 letters of your FIRST name, with no spaces. (Jared Smith would be SMITJARE and Sue Smith would be SMITSUE). Instructions for using Skyward Employee Access.
If you don’t have computer access at home , contact your school secretary or supervisor about using the designated computer in your building. The building TechTeam member can help if you need assistance using the computer to access your information. There is also a computer available for use at the front desk of the District Office during regular work hours.
It is important to review your payroll information and notify Payroll when changes need to be made.
