Idaho Falls School District 91 is committed to developing curriculum that engages students and provides them with the academic foundation they need to succeed in college and the world of work.
Administrators and teachers in Idaho Falls School District 91 are constantly updating curriculum to ensure it addresses students’ needs, meets new state and national standards and is based current research and instructional best practices.
Several curriculum projects are currently under way in our district. A committee is reviewing and rewriting the K-6 Music Curriculum. We also are in the process of adopting the Common Core Standards and preparing for implementation of the Smarter Balanced Assessments in 2014-2015. We are implementing the Graduate Project, a new state graduation requirement beginning with the Class of 2013. The board recently adopted a new Growth and Development Curriculum for 5th and 6th grades.
