Participating in FAME (Fine Arts Mini Experience) is a great way for student to explore and learn about various art forms. Children grow intellectually, when they learn how to express themselves through words, pictures, music and other art forms. Children learn to analyze their thoughts, feelings, and ideas as they experience the creative process through fine arts. They learn to look at things, people, and experiences in a fresh and exciting way and become more interested in the ideas and works of others. Many of the greatest scientific discoveries made in the world came through the imaginative process not the scientific laboratory.

 

FAME helps children learn and experience the fine arts through six mini lessons. These lessons are pre-developed and prepared for use with accompanying music, art, and decorations.

 

The FAME committee is requesting volunteers to assist in the setup of decorations and activities for the six events as well as volunteers to teach or assist in teaching one of the six lessons.
