Any Idaho high school journalism teacher, or a teacher who wants more information so they may become a high school journalism teacher, is welcome to come to the workshop. In addition to the three tracks, teachers will also be eligible for a special lunch track discussing legal issues which impact the high school journalism classroom, newspaper, broadcasts and other efforts. The cost of the workshop for teachers is $10, which covers materials for both the desired training track and the noon session on law.

Trainers include Gary Lundgren, assistant director of the National Scholastic Press Association; former broadcaster Mark Browning; and local journalists in each city.
