To help teenagers be successful in school:
- talk often about school and stay informed.
- help them make plans for post secondary education.
- assist them in selecting courses that support those plans.
- keep them focused on learning and homework during the school year.
Most students at all levels – elementary, middle and high school – want their family to be more knowledgeable partners about schooling and are willing to take active roles in assisting communication between home and school. |
