Students enrolled in Advanced Placement courses can use their Advanced Opportunities money to pay for AP tests. Idaho’s Advanced Opportunities program gives students a total of $4,125 to use to pay for AP tests, career-technical certifications, dual enrollment classes and other programs that allow students to earn college credit while they’re still in high school. Students must sign up and register for their AP tests by Nov. 15 to avoid paying a late fee. If they want to pay for the $94 tests with Advanced Opportunities money, they also must apply for those funds. Learn more about how to take advantage of the Advanced Opportunities program.
